Full Line of Dew Point Meters and Monitors

The dew point is the saturation temperature for water in the air. It is the temperature at which the water vapor in a sample of air at constant barometric pressure condenses into liquid water at the same rate at which it evaporates. The dew point is associated with relative humidity. A high relative humidity implies that the dew point is closer to the current air temperature. Relative humidity of 100% indicates the dew point is equal to the current temperature and that the air is maximally saturated with water. At temperatures below the dew point, some of the moisture will condense.

The hydrocarbon dew point of a gas is a different concept from the water dew point. The hydrocarbon dew point is the temperature (at a given pressure) at which the hydrocarbon components of any hydrocarbon-rich gas mixture, such as natural gas, will start to condense out of the gaseous phase. Dew Point / Moisture / Humidity Meters & Monitors
Van Air Dew Point Monitors

catalog_van_dew_pointAll Van Air dew point monitors have a sensor element designed for installation directly within the air line. As a result, the need for complex sample systems, including extensive piping, manifolds, flow and pressure regulators, is eliminated. More »

COSA Instruments Dew Point Monitors

catalog_cosa_dew_pointCOSA dew point transmitters are used wherever the dew point in a gas is critical. They are designed as compact, simple and reliable instruments, which will continually monitor air dryer performance, compressed air quality and dry gas moisture, from ambient dew point levels to as low as -148°F (-100°C). Portable Dew Point Meter XPDM

catalog_portable_dew_pointThe Portable Dew Point Meter Model XPDM is a battery operated, hand-held instrument designed for situations where quick and accurate dew point measurements have to be made. With the XPDM, accurate spot-checks of moisture in air or gases can be made faster and easier than ever, over the range of -148°F to +68°F (-100°C to +20°C) dew point. More »

Xentaur’s Dew Point Meter, Model LPDT

catalog_lpdt_dew_pointXentaur’s Model LPDT is the world’s smallest loop-powered (2-wire) dew point transmitter. The LPDT is also a fully functional instrument, featuring the well proven and easy to use interface, familiar to many. Set-up functions, result display of dew point, temperature and optionally pressure are accommodated by a miniature custom LCD display and three programming buttons. More »

COSA Extractive Sample System (ESS)

catalog_ess_dew_pointBuilding sample systems for measuring dew point in gases is not an easy task . It requires experience and a complete understanding of the often unexpected behavior of water molecules. Selection of the proper materials, components and final system configuration will greatly influence the fidelity of the sample carried to the sensor. More »
