Van Gas line of Instrument Gas Dryers

The Van Gas line of Instrument Gas Dryers is available in many different models. The Deliquescent Dryer is available in 2 types, Pipeline Dryers (PLD) where the units are manufactured in 280, 720 and 1450 psig models. The Smaller Single Tower Deliquescent Dryers (D Series) are capable of operating pressure up to 250 psig. Both types of Natural Gas Dryers have successfully been applied on Instrument Gas Dryer applications as well as Fuel Gas Dryers.

The Deliquescent Natural Gas Dryers are very effective in the Natural Gas Fields and most recently the Shale Gas fields. These remote applications are ideal since the Instrument Gas dryers require no utilities, produce no BTEX or VOC emissions and require very little operator training. The Pipeline Dryers and Single Tower Deliquescent Dryers will prevent freeze ups.

This assures the field operator of no lost production during colder months due to frozen valves, actuators or float controls. Their operation only affects the water content, not the hydrocarbon content of the gas. They have been very effective on separator pads controlling valves and on compressor station instrumentation. Natural Gas Single Tower Adsorption Dryer

The Van Gas ID-35 and ID15 single tower, adsorption dryers are the ideal solution for protection of sensitive equipment and instrumentation such as gas meters, regulators and oxygen sensors. This compact and versatile dryer will reduce the water content of gas streams to dew points as low as -40 degrees F, virtually eliminating entrained moisture from small or intermittent gas flows.

Designed for flows up to 50 MSCFD, and rated for 250 PSIG, the ID35 dryer has no power requirements or moving parts, making it suitable for remote installation and explosion proof applications. It is supplied with color indicating, silica gel desiccant which only requires periodic replacement. Fabricated in carbon steel, the vessel has a very high corrosion resistance. It is also available in stainless steel housing material.

Van Gas Technologies HLSX heatless regenerative desiccant dryers can be used when your capacities are above 50 MSCFD. All electrical components on HLSX dryers are housed in explosion proof enclosures making them ideal for operation in areas classified as hazardous.

HLSX dryers deliver a continuous -40ºF pressure dew point with models rated for 75 up to over 1.0 MMSCFD. All models in the HLSX series have a maximum working pressure of 280 PSIG. No yellow metals are used in the construction of the HLSX dryers.
